I'm in my 30s and have basically been a Christian my entire life. A few years ago I started researching the Hebraic roots of Christianity and found out there really aren't any. I've found that most of the roots are pagan in origin. So, in December 2011 I started moving out of Christianity and into the Messianic movement. I have a lot to learn, but I'm very eager to learn more about Torah and how to serve Yahweh in spirit and in truth as He commands to be served.
My friends describe me as funny, sweet, confident and friendly. I love to laugh, but also know when to be serious. There is a confident air about me. I know what I want out of life. I am very caring of those who are close to me. I can be passionate about things that I believe in and aren't afraid to say what I think, but not in a 'degrading' way. My best friend calls me "dynamite in a small package"- small obviously meaning short, as that's the only way I can be considered small.
I love to travel and have been to Jamaica twice. I would love to visit pretty much everywhere, but finances don't always make that possible. Perhaps one day.
I have a Bachelor's degree in History and had planned to teach social studies on the high school level, but the Almighty had other plans for me. Currently I work as a welfare casemanager. Although my political beliefs lean so far to the right that I think welfare should be done away with, I still find my job to be very rewarding. It is very demanding and stressful, but I truly enjoy helping those who are truly in need.
