I am a former Messianic Rabbi and Worship Leader of a congregation that I founded 20 years ago. I left that ministry 7 years ago due to ministry burn-out. My goal was to reach Jewish people with the good news of the Messiah, but after 13 years only a handful of Jewish people even visited and even fewer accepted their Messiah. I turned the ministry over to someone who wanted to continue "business as usual" and I have been employed in secular work since that time. I was born into a mixed culture - a Jewish (non-believing) Father and a Christian Mother. I was raised understanding that "Jesus" was the Messiah. When my Father accepted the Messiah just prior to his death, that was a turning point in my life. I then searched out my Jewish roots and that ultimately led me to start a ministry outreach in my area.
